Juvenum Hortus – Professor Katarzyna Dondalska presents: Italian arias from famous operas
During the concert of the JUVENUM HORTUS series prepared by the Westpomeranian Nobel Prize winner on Monday (27/06/2022), singers representing the Academy of Art in Szczecin and Music Academy in Bydgoszcz performed.
The artists performed in the villa garden, where a few days ago, an outdoor piano, Cadenza, made of concrete and steel, was placed. The pianist Michał Landowski sat at the instrument, weighing over a quarter of a ton. The audience admired the most beautiful arias, as well as duets from the famous operas by Georges Bizet, Giuseppe Donizetti, Giacomo Antonio Puccini, Gioacchino Antonio Rossini and Giuseppe Verdi in the interpretation of the laureates of many international music competitions, including sopranos – Aleksandra Bałachowska, Abira Chanaai, Aleksandra Grzelak, Yanai Hudzovska, Alicja Krutysza, Magdalena Piątak, tenor – Nazaria Kachala, baritone – David Roy and bass – Wojciech Urbanowski.
