SAXandVILLAS 2023 – THIS YEAR’S COMPETITION HAS BEEN CANCELLED
The Competition’s aim is to expand chamber music repertoires. The subject of the Competition is a piece for a trio consisting of two different saxophones (chosen from soprano, alto, tenor or baritone), and piano.
The awarded compositions will receive their world première performances, and the winners will be presented with commemorative statuettes. The 1st- and 2nd-prize winners will be invited to stay for three days in Carrara (Italy) and in Szczecin (Poland), the 3rd-prize winner – in Szczecin (Poland). There is also a money prize for the 1st-prize winner. Details can be found in the SAXandVILLAS – 2023 Competition Regulations below.
