Our Spring Concert



Ladies and gentlemen,

We are sorry to announce that for reasons independent of the Lentz Villa, our SPRING CONCERT, originally scheduled for 28th March this year, has been postponed until 19th April 2023 (starting at 7 p.m.) All the previously purchased tickets remain valid. In case this new date does not suit you, tickets may be returned at the place of purchase (Szczecin, 84 Wojska Polskiego Avenue). Concerning refunds for tickets purchased online, please contact the Lentz Villa’s booking office at the following address: kasa@willa-lentza.pl.
We are greeting the spring on 19th April at 7 p.m. with a concert of popular works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Jules Massenet, Claude Debussy, Gabriel Fauré, Astor Piazzolla, and Jacob Gade.

Maria Radoszewska (violin) and Olga Bila (piano) will play, among others, Debussy’s famous ‘Clair de Lune’ (‘Moonlight’) from Suite bergamasque, as well as the tangos Jalousie and Vuelvo al sur.

Bios

Olga Bila

A graduate of the Sergei Prokofiev Donetsk State Music Academy (piano class of Professor Nataliya Chesnokova), she has worked since 2015 at Szczecin’s Opera at the Castle as a choir and solo repetiteur, taking part in preparations for many productions, such as the Polish premiere of Benjamin Britten’s The Turn of the Screw (best spectacle of 2016 according to the jury of the Jan Kiepura Music Theatre Awards), the world premiere of Laurent Petitgirard’s Guru, and the first Szczecin performance of Karol Szymanowski’s King Roger.

Bila is also a teacher and accompanist at the Vocal Performance Department of the Academy of Art in Szczecin, a collaborator of the Mieczysław Karłowicz Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, the Baltic Neopolis Orchestra, and Ba-Rock ensemble.
She has performed numerous concert programmes, accompanying singers in Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, and Ukraine. As an accompanist she has received many accolades in vocal and instrumental competitions held in Poland (Łódź, Szczecin), Ukraine (Dnipro, Donetsk, Poltava), and Germany (Ueckermünde).

Maria Radoszewska

After graduation from the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk (violin class of Professor Mirosława Pawlak), she performed (from 2012) in the 1st violins section of the orchestra of Szczecin’s Opera at the Castle.

She has also appeared with, among others, Szczecin and Gorzów Philharmonics, the Preußisches Kammerorchester Prenzlau, and the Baltic Neopolis Orchestra. As a member of Balthus String Quartet she qualified for the prestigious ‘Premio Paolo Borciani’ competition in Reggio Emilia, Italy, and took part in the Chilean Embassy’s project ‘Violetta Parra Returns to Poland’. She has developed her solo and chamber music performance skills at workshops conducted, among others, by professors Tomasz Tomaszewski (Berlin), Zygmunt M. Kowalski (Brussels), Michael Vaiman (Cologne), Andrzej Grudzień (Belgium), Quatuor Ébène (France), and Fine Arts Quartet (USA).
