We are very pleased to invite you to another concert from our cycle AD ASTRA. On Friday 28th July at 7 p.m., the Lentz Villa’s garden will be the venue for a performance by Roman Wróblewski Trio.
The band’s music is an intriguing mix of styles and rhythms derived, among others, from African traditions and classical music, enriched by mature, captivating improvisations that testify to the musicians’ mastery. The unconventional line-up (piano, cello, and drums) promises an extraordinary journey into a previously unknown sound world.

* Roman Wróblewski – pianist and composer based in the Polish Tricity, who has taken part in projects representing different musical styles for nearly 20 years. In addition to his debut album of piano music, 3:47 AM, released in April 2021, he has appeared on ten studio albums, given concerts in Europe (Denmark, France, Portugal, Sweden) and Asia, and performed at such festivals as, among others, Gdynia’s Open'er and Przystanek Woodstock (with Enchantia band). His film soundtrack won the 2022 Sopot Film Festival’s award in the category of Best Documentary Film.
* Luati Gonzalez – Spanish drummer and percussionist (performing on ‘noise makers’), composer, and producer, who has appeared with the greatest flamenco music stars: Rafael Amargo, Los Chichos, Gala Évora, Aurora García, Manuel Molina, Juan Parrilla, Catarina dos Santos, Salvador Sobral, Victor Zamora, and Carolina Zingler. During the more than 20 years of his stage career, he has appeared in most countries of Asia and Europe as well as at numerous international festivals, including the International Jazz Festival (Almaty, Kazakhstan), HO-HAI-YAN Rock Festival (Gongliao, Taiwan), Babel Sound Festival (Balaton, Hungary), Rozstaje/Crossroads Festival (Cracow, Poland), Flamenco Festival Esch (Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg), Nimes Flamenco Festival (Nimes, France), Flamenco Festival (Berlin, Germany), and Hijinx Unity Festival (Cardiff, UK). He has developed his technique at masterclasses taught by, among others, Jorge Rossy, Aldo Caviglia, Chris Kase, and Joel Silva.
* Weronika Kulpa – cellist, chamber and session musician, lecturer at Sopot’s LAS Academy and the Gdańsk Academy of Music. She regularly performs with such bands as Alfah Femmes, O'Bows Quartet, Ensemble Inegalite, Kwartetem Bonsai, Gdańsk Quartet, Oblivion Duo, and Paulina Porszke Ensemble, as well as collaborating with the Sopot Music Theatre ‘Baabus Musicalis’, vocal ensemble Simultaneo, and Cappella Gedanensis.
