On Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 19:00, we will celebrate the beginning of the seventh month of the operation of the youngest institution in Szczecin – Lentz Villa with the Jan Szyrocki Academic Choir of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin.
The most famous ensemble of West Pomerania will present the Polish premiere of "Christmas Oratorio" by Bob Chilcott. The work of the British jazzman will sound along with the most beautiful Polish Christmas carols.

Bob Chilcott has associated his artistic life with choral music for years as a chorister and choral scholar at King's College Cambridge and as a King's Singers ensemble member. Oxford University Press has published his choral works. The most famous works of the artist are "St. John Passion", "Salisbury Vespers", "Requiem", "A Little Jazz Mass". The composition"The Angry Planet" was commissioned by the BBC Proms in 2012, and "Age UK Oxfordshire commissioned the Voyage" (shortlisted for the Royal Philharmonic Society Award). Bob Chilcott has performed as a choirmaster in over 30 countries worldwide. He has worked with thousands of singers on the Singing Days series. For seven years, he was conductor of the Chorus of The Royal College of London. Since 2002, he has been Principal Guest Conductor of the BBC Singers in London. In 2019 he wrote Christmas Oratorio, which will be performed for the first time in Poland at the Lentz Villa.
