A sculpture representing Charlie Chaplin, created by Jerzy ‘Jotka’ Kędziora, was unveiled in the Lentz Villa’s garden on Saturday 29th July 2023.

This new element of our cycle ‘Icons of Culture’ is a truly unusual sculpture balancing above our visitors’ heads, installed by Art & Balance Foundation. Though loosely supported at just one or two points, the work, as our guests can check for themselves, maintains balance in defiance of the laws of gravity.
The energising spectacle featuring Chaplin moving between earth and the sky commemorates the year 1889, when the Lentz Villa was being built and when that eminent British silent and sound film actor-director was born.
Art & Balance Foundation has previously presented much-admired installations, notably in Dubai, Abu Dabi, Berlin, and Lourdes.
Charlie Chaplin’s balancing sculpture will add splendour to our villa’s garden till 30th September 2023.
