Announcement of the Results of the SAXandVILLAS 2025 Composition Competition
We are pleased to inform you that the Jury of the 4th International Composition Competition SAXandVILLAS 2025, composed of:

Dr. Marilyn Shrude, Distinguished Artist Professor (USA)
Dr. Francisco Martinez (Spain)
has completed its deliberations.
The Jury has decided as follows:
First Prize was not awarded.
Second Prize was awarded to ROBERTO MARIA CIPOLLINA for the piece "MODULES FOR AN OPERA" (pseudonym: ECOTHALAMUS) – La Spezia, Italy.
Third Prize went to NIKODEM KLUCZYŃSKI for the piece "MOULTING" (pseudonym: EternalGardener23) – Nowy Tomyśl, Poland.
The aim of the competition was to enrich the global music repertoire with new chamber compositions written for the following instrumentations:
Trio: soprano saxophone, alto saxophone, and baritone saxophone
Duo: saxophone with piano (choice of soprano, alto, tenor, or baritone saxophone)
Saxophone quartet (SATB)
We thank the Jury for their excellent work and all participants for taking part in this year’s competition. We warmly encourage you to participate in future editions of this musical contest.
