On Saturday, 27th April 2024, we present the fourth recital in our two-year cycle CHOPIN AT THE LENTZ VILLA. COMPLETE WORKS. Conceived as part of the composer’s 225th birth anniversary celebrations, the cycle will come to its close in 2025. Recitals of music by the great master from Żelazowa Wola have previously been held at the Lentz Villa – Szczecin’s artistic salon – by Jakub Kuszlik, Ewa Pobłocka, and Sławomir Wilk.

DAVID SEREBRYANIK – piano
Born and reared in Uzbekistan, Serebryanik spent much of his childhood at the National Opera (Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre Alisher Navoi) in Tashkent, where his parents worked. ‘It was my father Alexander (conductor and pianist) who instilled in me the world of improvisation and the joy of discovering music,’ explains the soloist. As a budding arranger at age 16, Serebryanik orchestrated works for a concert held at Tashkent’s newly-built Show-Theatre, where he performed alongside popular actor and singer-songwriter Vladimir Bagramov.
Serebryanik graduated in piano and classical song accompaniment from the music academies in Würzburg and Munich. He has appeared, among others, in Israel, South Korea, Germany, and the United States. His programmes frequently combine classical music with free improvisation, jazz, pop, and other genres.
The artist has played, among other things, at the Carl Orff-Festspiele Andechs, and collaborated with Munich Symphony Orchestra, Theater und Orchester Heidelberg, the Opera at the Castle and the Academy of Art, both in Szczecin.
