During the inaugural festival concert, which will take place on August 2 (7.00 p.m.), the beautiful poems of the leading representatives of Young Poland in literature – Leopold Staff and Bolesław Leśmian, will be recalled.
Works by the masters, wrapped in music composed by Bartłomiej Marusik, will be performed by the world-famous mezzo-soprano Agnieszka Rehlis and the excellent guitarist and winner of the 2014 Szczecin City Art Award – Krzysztof Meisinger.
The presented miniatures come from the album nominated for the 2021 Fryderyk award, entitled Pieśni nocą śpiewane. The artists will present the following works of poets: Leopold Staffa – "Los" "Zmrok”, "Kochanka”, "Bliskość daleka” and Bolesław Leśmian – "Zaklęcie”, "Tajemnica”, "Ja tu stoję za drzwiami”, "Gdybym spotkał Ciebie”, "Wiersz księżycowy”, and "Lubię szeptać”.
The concert is a part of the MEISINGER MUSIC FESTIVAL – SZCZECIN 2022.
