ANNOUNCE:

THE IV INTERNATIONAL COMPOSERS’ COMPETITION



The purpose of the competition is to enrich the chamber music literature. The task is to create new compositions for the following instrumental ensembles, from which participants can choose:

1. Trio consisting of soprano, alto, and baritone saxophones.

2. Saxophone and piano duo (choice of soprano, alto, tenor, or baritone saxophone).

3. Saxophone quartet (SATB).

All submitted compositions will be evaluated in a single category, without division into different ensembles.
The awarded works will be premiered by renowned performers, and their authors will receive commemorative statuettes.
The winner of the first prize will be invited to the premiere of their composition at a selected partner institution.

Financial prizes are provided: 1500 Euro for 1st place and 500 Euro for 2nd place.

March 31, 2025: deadline for submission of scores and other required documents (end of the submission period for competition works)
March 31 – April 30, 2025: jury deliberations. During this period, neither the organizers nor the jury members will contact the competition participants.
May 5, 2025: announcement of the results and winners of the competition
May 10, 2025: deadline for composers to submit the parts of the awarded compositions
September – October 2025: Premiere performances of the awarded compositions
