The cycle of meetings titled ‘Ethics and Cultural Practice’ is part of the Lentz Villa’s project ‘Values in Culture’.

The meetings are dedicated to critical reflection on contemporary culture, to diagnosing the causes that underlie its crisis and defining the challenges that culture now faces in relation to the world’s future. Cultural wars are becoming ever more severe. So is the atomisation of life and pauperisation of culture, the global climate crisis, and the rise of pandemics that constitute a growing peril to our lives. What culture do we need in the face of these threats? What chances does the ever-changing reality create for a revival of culture and the emergence of new cultural forms?
