Błoto is an ensemble created in 2018 accidentally like a puddle after the rain. The quartet, derived from the highly valued EABS septet in Poland, plays compositions firmly rooted in hip-hop groove, referring to the sound of the nineties. An essential point of reference for the group members is also jazz fusion music from Miles Davis's "Bitches Brew" and the futuristic experiments of Herbie Hancock.

Błoto has, above all, a massive crowd of fans in Poland and has won many awards and prizes. Among them, there are:

• Nomination for Polityka Passports 2020 for Marek Pędziwiatr,
• Nomination in the Music category – Discovery of the Year 2020 by Empik,
• Invitation to the Second Program of Polish Radio – participation in the series "Domówka z Dwójką",
• Nomination for the Fryderyk 2021 Award for the Alternative Album of the Year – album KWIATOSTAN.

The band's pilot long play (despite the lack of promotion, leading recording and cover) was sold within hours. On the album EROZJE, close to the concept of Andrzej Kurylewicz and Tomasz Stańko, traces of Komeda's jazz appeared. Created as a limited and luxurious product, the album FLOWERSTAN was released in vinyl edition with hand-made photos, sold out (600 copies) before most potential customers had time to notice its existence. The spark to creating the publishing house (CD, Vinyl, streaming platforms) KWASY I ZASADY was the ensemble's participation in the Polish Radio Program Two series entitled "Domówka z Dwójką", and, surprisingly, the band Tercet Egzotyczny. As it turned out, the recording took place at the late vocalist Izabela Skrybant-Dziewiątkowska's house. The first part of the album consisted of songs about negative phenomena (kwasy – acids in English), such as Chryja, Prostactwo, Hipokryzja, Farmazon, Mitomania, Ignorancja, and the second part of the positive (zasady – principles in English): Autentyzm, Prostota, Prawda, Umiar
