21-04-2022, Thursday, at 7:00 pm - Ticketed event
On Thursday, April 21 at 19:00, a concert will be held at the Lentz Villa, during which compositions representing a musical portrait of the bourgeoisie at the turn of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance will be played.
Civitas sonat – the city's sounds in the past centuries is a new repertoire of the Academy of Early Music Foundation from Szczecin. From dawn to dusk, hour after hour, you will hear morning prayers, the noon hustle and bustle, a meeting with a music teacher, a bustle of an inn, scenes of love confessions and an evening meditation crowning the concert.
The program includes works by Mikołaj of Radom, Pietro Certon, Annibale Stabile, Orlando di Lasso, Melchior Franck, Josquin des Pres, Wacław of Szamotuły. In addition, there will be anonymous works from the Tablature of Jan of Lublin. Performers: Szczecin Vocal Project and Consortium Sedinum.
