FILIPINKI is a cult vocal group that made Szczecin famous in the 1960s and 1970s. Septet was made up of students of the Technical School of Commerce in Szczecin. In 1965, the female vocalists from Szczecin gave concerts in Canada and the United States as the first female music group from the Eastern Bloc.
At the Lentz Villa, we want to return to the past years and remind you of the hits of this famous group arranged anew and performed by Dianna Domagała, Maja Dziczek, Daria Górska, Joanna Rosa, and pianist and arranger Michał Wiśniewski. The artists will sing such hits as Batumi, Filipinki to My, and Parasolki. The vocalists will also sing songs by Violetta Villas, Helena Majdaniec, Anna Jurksztowicz and Czesław Niemen.
The meeting will be complemented by a guest performance by artists from Szczecin: Maria Radoszewska and Bartosz Utracki. Dariusz Koronczewski will host the concert.
