Tradition in culture – summary
On March 26, 2022, another (eighth) discussion meeting was held in the VALUES IN CULTURE series. The guests embarked on the topic of TRADITION IN CULTURE.
The meeting at the Lentz Villa (in a vanilla salon) was hosted by Paweł Osuchowski, conductor and culture animator. The interesting discussion was attended by representatives of the Szczecin world of science, history, literature, journalism, music and theatre: Monika Gapińska, Igor Górewicz, Piotr Michałowski, Paweł Migdalski, Aleksander Różanek and Patryk Słowiński.
The audience had the opportunity to listen to answers to questions about the traditions in the culture of our city and its inhabitants. Among the many threads, the issue of how to refer to local customs and cultivate the rich intangible heritage of Szczecin returned. The common denominator for many interesting statements was the value and importance of educational processes, both in education and at home, drawing on heritage and tradition. The meeting ended with traditional (nomen omen) tea and equally interesting backstage talks.
