The International Composers’ Competition SAXandVILLAS was announced by the Lentz Villa in Szczecin, Poland, in cooperation with Villa Marigola in Lerici, Italy. The Competition has been dedicated to the memory of Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822) and Karol Szymanowski (1882-1937).

An international jury, consisting of:

has ruled as follows:

• The first prize in the SAXandVILLAS – 2022 Competition has not been awarded.
• The second prize has been awarded to a composer using the pseudonym Bramante Colonna.
• The third prize has not been awarded.
• Honourable mentions have not been awarded.

The second prize winner’s work will receive its world premiere during the Lerici Music Festival in Italy as well as being performed during the Saxludium Jesienne Festival in Szczecin, Poland.

All the participants will receive Certificates of Participation.
