We have the honour to announce that the 2 nd prize in the International Composers’ Competition SAXandVILLAS 2022 has been awarded to Gianluca Cremona.

Our Italian prize winner graduated in piano from the Conservatorio Giacomo Puccini in La Spezia. He is currently studying composition with Andrea Nicoli, orchestra conducting with Marco Boni, and chamber music with Pier Narciso Masi. Several of his compositions have been performed at contemporary music festivals. Among others, Contatto was presented by percussionist Simone Beneventi at the Camino Controcorrente 2021, Fregi appeared at the same festival in 2022, and Quattro pezzi per violino e pianoforte won the competition “Call for Scores Violin and Piano” organised by NED Ensemble.
