The closing party (finissage) of our exhibition of Timm Stütz’s photographs, combined with a presentation of the ‘Antidote’ catalogue published by the Lentz Villa, was held on Friday 30th September.

Numerous photography fans flocked to our historical venue to discuss their experience and perception of the presented photos and of the artist’s many passions, which include sailing, writing seafaring books and essays, creating aphorisms, keeping diaries and memoirs, as well as promoting traditional Pomeranian sailing boats (the so-called Zeesboote).

The artist, associated with Szczecin Photographic Society (STF) for nearly forty years, has also been a member of the Association of Polish Nature Photographers (ZPFP). For several years, Stütz was the president of STF; he is now an honorary member of both STF and ZPFP.

Timm Stütz’s works have been presented at many national and international, individual and collective exhibitions, including presentations following plein-air workshops and competitions. As an active participant of FIAP International Salons of Photography, he has received numerous medals, awards, distinctions, diplomas, and congratulatory letters.

This afternoon at the finissage, live music was performed by Halina Różanek (accordion).
