On Sunday, August 21, American singer and composer Claire Kelly will perform in the garden of the Lentz Villa. The finalist of The Kerrville Folk Festival "Grassy Hill New Folk Competition for Emerging Songwriters" and the song contest "Songwriter Serenade" in La Grange, Texas, recently recorded an album titled "The Scenic Route" with the folk-blues trio South For Winter. The album, warmly received by fans, also received positive reviews: "... the impressive sound of Kelly's voice and interesting lyrics make it a pleasure to reach for the album ..." (Glide Magazine).
