RUDERSDAL KAMMERSOLISTER

The ensemble was founded on the initiative of the composer Lera Auerbach, who, being a special guest of the festival of classical music "Rudersdal Sommerkoncerter", was delighted with its program and atmosphere. So she proposed creating a chamber resident ensemble that started its activity in 2018.

Today, the world-renowned group of outstanding Danish chamber musicians has a rich repertoire of both classical and contemporary music, including several pieces written especially for them by composers from around the world.

Rudersdal Kammersolister has participated in prestigious music festivals, such as the Sorø International Music Festival and the Golden Days Festival, and currently presents an interdisciplinary project called "Four Elements" on many concert stages, which combines music with visual arts, poetry, science and history.

Artists get excellent reviews after each concert. After one of them, the famous Georgian composer wrote about the ensemble: "Rudersdal Kammersolister is a unique group. All its members are virtuosos with great sensitivity and a deep understanding of the musical material. It is chamber music at a very high level."

Rudersdal Kammersolister are:

  • Christine Pryn (violin)
  • John Ehde (cello)
  • Manuel Esperilla (pianist)
