The exhibition OBLIVION and the screening of the film MEDIUM
The opening of the photo exhibition of students of the 3rd year of the Cinematography Department, Department of Photography, the State Leon Schiller Higher School of Film, Television and Theater in Łódź entitled Oblivion attracted many artists and art lovers at the Lentz Villa.
As noted by prof. Jacek Koprowicz – curator of the exhibition and at the same time the supervisor of young artists "... the paintings presented in Szczecin were created during a plein-air event organized in Lower Silesia, in the 16th-century palace in Bożków".
The photos were taken by Karolina Fafińska, Aleksandra Skowrońska, Sonia Witak, Barbara Woźniczka, Jakub Jezierski and Kacper Nowak. In the second part of the evening, J. Koprowicz's MEDIUM was recalled, considered to be the first Polish occult film – praised by the audience who came to the Lentz Villa for great acting, consistent atmosphere and excellent music (the film debut of Krzesimir Dębski) to this day.
The artist said that on the November evening, he symbolically said goodbye to the wonderful actors with whom he had the honour of working – Włodzimierz Kowalski and Piotr Machalica. He added: "... this screening is dedicated to them."
