Olga Bila

A graduate of the Sergei Prokofiev Donetsk State Music Academy (piano class of Professor Nataliya Chesnokova), she has worked since 2015 at Szczecin’s Opera at the Castle as a choir and solo repetiteur, taking part in preparations for many productions, such as the Polish premiere of Benjamin Britten’s The Turn of the Screw (best spectacle of 2016 according to the jury of the Jan Kiepura Music Theatre Awards), the world premiere of Laurent Petitgirard’s Guru, and the first Szczecin performance of Karol Szymanowski’s King Roger.

Bila is also a teacher and accompanist at the Vocal Performance Department of the Academy of Art in Szczecin, a collaborator of the Mieczysław Karłowicz Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, the Baltic Neopolis Orchestra, and Ba-Rock ensemble.
She has performed numerous concert programmes, accompanying singers in Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, and Ukraine. As an accompanist she has received many accolades in vocal and instrumental competitions held in Poland (Łódź, Szczecin), Ukraine (Dnipro, Donetsk, Poltava), and Germany (Ueckermünde).
