The play "1888. Villa of Love" was created to inaugurate the City of Szczecin's newest cultural institution.

As part of the inauguration of the Lentz Villa's activity, Szczeciners could visit the seat of the newest cultural institution of the City of Szczecin. The excellent guides for the residence were:

The audience gathered in the gardens of the Lentz Villa had a great time at the concert of Jazz-Band Młynarski-Masecki. The band, referring to the old tradition of Polish jazz orchestras of the interwar period, recalled the great hits of Henryk Wars, Zygmunt Wiehler and Zygmunt Karasiński. Marcin's arrangements and Janek's voice gave the whole an entirely new dimension, making last-century music current and functional.

The events presented during the third day of the inauguration of the Lentz Villa's activities took place both in the gardens and inside the residence. Among the many items in the program were concerts by the Movie Music Quintet, as well as the Orchestra of the Foundation of the Academy of Early Music, the theatrical performance "1888. Villa of Love" by Anna Chudek, directed by Paweł Niczewski, the film screening by Małgorzata Frymus on the conservation works of the building entitled "Szczecin's Lentz Villa – a return to splendour". The Baltic Neopolis Orchestra also played with the soloist Emanuel Salvador, and the last mapping show could be admired as well. The host of the events on the third day of the inauguration was Michał Janicki. The Radisson Blu Szczecin hotel provided the refreshments.

This Lentz Villa exhibition has become popular with the inhabitants of Szczecin. "The History (a)new" will be available to visitors until September 30th, 2021.

A concert by Mitch & Mitch, founded in 2002 by Mario Moretti and Bartek Magneto, took place in the gardens of the Lentz Villa. The ensemble creating thoroughly original music has collaborated with dozens of international venues. In Poland, their collaboration with Zbigniew Wodecki, which resulted in the album "1976: A Space Odyssey", became immensely popular.

Andrzej Tobis' exhibition entitled A-Z (report 2019/2020) will be open until September 30th, 2021.

The mapping prepared especially for the inauguration was presented on the facade of the building. The animation creators used the number 1888 in the presentation, referring at the same time to the year when the concept of building the residence was created. Thanks to the use of artificial intelligence, writers, painters and scientists from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries were recalled. The facade of the Lentz Villa in the finale changed into flashing particles, from which the animated silhouette of the host – August Lentz, emerged, as well as the number 1888 closing the whole show.

The ceremony was hosted by Tomasz Raczek.

Among the speakers, there were the Speaker of the Senate of the Republic of Poland – Tomasz Grodzki, President of the City of Szczecin – Piotr Krzystek, President of the City Council of Szczecin – Renata Łażewska and acting director of the Lentz Villa – Jagoda Kimber.

The authors and co-authors M. Dębowski, M. Słomiński, W. Wojciechowski, A. Tobias, S. Ruksza, P. Gut and B. Boguszewski spoke about the exhibitions, album and the book prepared for the opening of the Institution.

The concert of the Baltic Neopolis Orchestra with Krzesimir Dębski conducting took place in the gardens of the Lentz Villa. The ensemble premiered a three-movement work by the composer entitled "Papricoso stettinese della una Villa", prepared especially for the Institution's inauguration. Jacek Rudnicki also took part in the concert.

On June 11th 2021, at 13.00 at the Lentz Villa, an official meeting of local government administration representatives of our voivodeship and the city took place.
