Lodz Film School students exhibition – Oblivion

  • Willa Lentza

On Friday, November 5 at 17:00, the Lentz Villa will host the opening of the exhibition entitled Oblivion (in Polish Niepamięć). The authors of the photos are students of one of the best art academies in the world – the State Leon Schiller Higher School of Film, Television and Theater in Łódź.
The series of photographs presented in Szczecin does not derive from the literal description of the outside world but its modification. According to the curator of the exhibition and the tutor of young artists, prof. Jacek Koprowicz: "... It is possible that what we see (in the presented works) happened in the past in an abandoned palace in Bożków in Lower Silesia, which was the arena of our plein-air. Therefore, there must be some rational explanation that this mysterious, romantic object triggered such a form of OBLIVION in the students. Because the thesis that these images are proof of reincarnation seems to be an abuse".

We cordially invite you.
