We invite you to the concert of the Baltic Neopolis Orchestra (BNO) on Saturday, March 26 at 19:00.
This time, the ensemble from Szczecin will give a concert within the "Great Concertmasters" series. Melina Mandozzi from Switzerland's Locarno will be the star of the evening. The violinist is a graduate of the Yehudi Menuhin School in London. The instrumentalist, playing the violin GB Guadagnini from 1742, was, among others, a concertmaster of the London Symphony Orchestra, Tonhalle Orchestra of Zurich, London Philharmonic Orchestra and Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra.
BNO has gained wide recognition from audiences and critics by performing in most European countries, as well as in the Philippines, Japan, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia and Singapore. The orchestra has recorded many albums, including: Ego Sapientia by Marek Jasiński (2013), Górecki Łukaszewski (2013), Szczecin Compositions with works by Piotr Klimek, Michał Dobrzyński, Zbigniew Bagiński and Janusz Stalmierski (2013), Tribute to Carl Loewe (2014), Sonatina für Alina (2014), Il Tramonto (2015), 4 AM Tango (2019), Musica Sacra 5 by Paweł Łukaszewski (2014), for which they got the Fryderyk Music Award in the Chamber Music category.
