Inspirujmy się inspiracjami geniuszy!

Amerykański neurolog i pisarz Oliver Sacks w książce „Muzykofilia. To prace zainspirowane muzyką Fryderyka Chopina, a dokładniej nokturnami genialnego kompozytora.

On Friday, June 24, 2022, the opening of Wojciech Siudmak's exhibition entitled "Nocturnes – Hommage à Chopin" took place. The artist, who honoured the Szczecin residence with his presence, stated that the achievements of the great composer had inspired him for years. Since 2009 he has been working on the series of paintings presented in the villa, which are a free interpretation of Chopin's nocturnes. A recital by the pianist Sławomir Wilk perfectly complemented the exhibition. As always, the musician delighted the audience with the interpretation of the master's work from Żelazowa Wola. The exhibition, curated by Dorota Pieńkos, is open until October 30, 2022.

Let's dance! Cheers!

High teas, dance clubs, discos and finally balls – the dictionary of synonyms gives different words for almost the same thing: the possibility of "stomping your feet"; almost because each of these terms has extra weight.

CULTURE ICONS

On Sunday, June 5, a concert within the CULTURE ICONS series took place for the first time at the Lentz Villa. The interest in the recital with the hits of the brilliant Edith Piaf was so enormous that the performance of Sylwia Różycka quickly sold out. The artist played the role of the most famous French singer of the 20th century. That is why a decision was made to organise an additional concert, thus ensuring that a large group of French song lovers would participate in a unique, magical evening.
