We have hosted another festival evening with the tango. Famous pieces by Astor Piazzolla were interpreted in a masterful manner by singing actress Aneta Todorczuk, guitarist Krzysztof Meisinger, double-bassist Michał Sobuś, and Royal String Quartet.

The much-awaited weekend has finally come when sailing ships have arrived in our city. On this occasion, the Lentz Villa served as the venue for a meeting between Michał Przepiera, Deputy President of the City of Szczecin, and the commanders and captains of the vessels taking part in SAIL SZCZECIN (ŻAGLE) 2022.

Poszukując niedawno prezentu urodzinowego dla dziewczynki, która chciałaby zacząć naukę gry na gitarze, ale jeszcze nie posiada instrumentu, przejrzałam asortyment sporej ilości sklepów internetowych. To, co mnie zaskoczyło podczas wyboru owej gitary dla małej jubilatki, a mówiąc dosadniej – powaliło, uderzyło, oburzyło – był fakt, że instrumenty dla dziewczynek w niektórych sklepach są ... osobną kategorią. Tak, jakby muzyka miała płeć.

As part of the JUVENUM HORTUS cycle presented in the Lentz Villa, on Saturday (6th August) Piazzolla Duo, made up of Piotr Zubek and Janek Pentz, performed their own arrangements of works by the world’s greatest tango promoter Astor Piazzolla. The famous numbers by the virtuoso bandoneonist have been interpreted in an expressively quite different style thanks to, among others, the singer Piotr Zubek’s jazz improvisations and the unique sound of Janek Pentz’s acoustic guitar.

Sensuous poems by Leopold Staff and Bolesław Leśmian have inaugurated the 6th edition of MEISINGER MUSIC FESTIVAL.

Sport, considered as one of the most important spheres of human life, involves and attracts a great number of people. It also penetrates into other areas of human activity, including the broadly conceived culture. This aspect of human life, and culture’s links to sport, were the subject of the Saturday meeting at the Willa Lentza, held as part of the series VALUES IN CULTURE AND SPORT.

Już kilka dobrych lat temu idea "slow life" zaczęła zdobywać coraz większą popularność. Tak mi się wydaje, że ta właśnie filozofia zdominuje tegoroczne wakacje. I choć wszystko zaczęło się od jedzenia, bo przecież w opozycji do popularnych fast foodów powstał najpierw ruch „slow food”, koncepcja powolności przeniknęła do różnych sfer życia.

The idea of ​​organising breakfast in August Lentz's garden appealed to the participants of the Saturday meeting. The audience did not disappoint, and neither did the weather.

The concert of Muchy attracted die-hard fans of one of the most influential Polish guitar groups of the 21st century to the Lentz Villa. The group, which has existed for over seventeen years, was greeted in Szczecin with ovation and applause, similarly to hundreds of other club and festival events. Moreover, the music performed – often compared to Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, Interpol or The Smiths – had an electrifying effect on the audience.
